Dream: Battle of the TV Moms!
Apr. 18th, 2005 08:38 amAnd again with the TV dreams!
This time it was a collision of "The Simpsons" and "Malcolm in the Middle," with the mothers of both shows pretending to be doctors, Lois ("Malcolm") to get the flu medicine she needed in a busy hospital, and Marge ("Simpsons") to get another injection for Bart (who had disappeared into the underground to get something for Lisa). The two mothers got into a fight in an examining room in front of a bunch of interns, arguing over which case should come first--flu shots or 'drop trou, little boy!'
Somewhere in all of this was a television set to "Divorce Court," and the case was a woman who objected to her husband eating worms. It morphed into an interview with a Brad Pitt lookalike over his book about the nutritious benefits of eating worms. Another court show followed, but it was not interesting enough to remember.
Notes and explanatory details
#1. I've been sick lately. Sickness always brings the strange dreams, but usually when the sick dreams involve TV shows it's because I was feverishly napping on a couch while the show was on. Not so this time!
#2. When I woke up in the morning, the entertainment segment of the morning news had the local news clown playing with some worms and talking about gardening. I sincerely hope this explains the worm court bit.
